About the Owner – Shane Wicks

Shane Wicks started Hyperion with his partner Emma Wicks.
After many years of encountering unprofessional contractors who deviated from quality guidelines and misled clients – and encountering even more unhappy customers – he decided to be part of the solution.
As a father, Shane knows the importance of setting a good example: hard work and honesty are just as important to him on the job site as they are at home.
As a teacher of Electrical Maintenance & Construction and Electrical Engineering at Algonquin College, he has learned the valuable skill of disseminating complex knowledge in a way that everyone can understand. Teaching helps keep him at the forefront of the field standards and knowledge.
